Back Bay’s Farmhouse is a fantastic local gem, offering a laid-back atmosphere perfect for catching up on work or hanging out with a group. While winter food options are limited to baked goods, the top-tier coffee and craft beer selection more than make up for it. The property offers ample parking and plenty of indoor seating, but it truly shines in warmer weather when the dog area, outdoor seating, and rotating food trucks are in full swing. Whether you're looking for a quiet morning workspace or a lively afternoon spot, this farmhouse is a must-visit.

We were in from Pennsylvania for a girls trip and went looking through the local VA tourist/advertisement books that are located all over the Beach area. We came across this little gems ad and looked it up. To our surprise, they were releasing a Golden Girls beer while we were in town- that's all it took! I almost had randomly packed on of my Golden Girls tees for the trip but didn't at the last minute- ha! The Golden Girl beer was very tasty! We had dinner from the food trucks. My daughter and I had the mac n cheese with brisket from the Cups Up food truck and it was so good! The gentleman from the food truck was actually making the cheese sauce as the orders came in, so it was FRESH!!! Our friends had Paninis and they were please with their meals as well. There was a small outdoor market going on for the Golden Girls evening as well. The farmhouse, and the couple photo ops are lovely! My only complaint would have been the line to get your alcoholic beverages. At times it was long and only one person was behind the counter serving. Maybe the 2nd room on the first floor could be a back up to add another serving area? Or a second outdoor area could be added outside for events? All and all it was a great mom & daughter experience.
