This is a small microbrewery with some very good brews. When we were there they had 10 brews on tap so we had 2 flights of 4 (avoiding the 2 IPAs). This place has a very good mix of light/dark brews as well as some with a higher alcohol content. I'll say just rating this place on the brew it's an easy 5 stars as the 8 brews we had were excellent. Overall this is a pretty small brewery with limited seating, but they have done a very good job with setting up a protected outdoor area that's heated. Including a separate area for smokers. They do not have a kitchen onsite, but had an excellent food truck (pizza) when we were there.
First time stopping by! New to the area (not new to Virginia). I've actually had Barley Naked at a local event and enjoyed their Cream Ale, now living in the area, I've drove by a few times wanting to stop. I'm extremely happy I did! Excellent service from Ashley and Jenna, both provided great recommendations along with welcoming hospitality. Thank you! Location: Located in more north Stafford off 610 in a shopping complex. They have a corner where they're able to put up some tents and have a food truck in the portion of the parking lot. Atmosphere Considering the space, it's got a nice set up with a few tables inside, two bar-style seating areas, a covered seated area, and I guess depending on the weather there are some outdoor tents set up front. Service Again, I received great service while there. The servers all seemed happy to help and attentive to taking care of customers. I asked for several recommendations, and all were great per my taste. Cost Seems affordable for a brewery. You're able to get various sizes at various prices, but I don't think any were expensive, and ended up taking home a 32 oz growler! Selection They had a great selection for a range of beer drinkers, from ales to IPA, to light to dark, and even a decent hefeweizen. Bonus I was told they tend to have food trucks often. In an area where many wineries, breweries, and distilleries are, many don't have good food or food options. Barley Naked appears to have regular food trucks. Overall, a great spot to visit if you're in the area! I look forward to stopping by again, and often, for the excellent service and brews! Thank you!
