Brightworks Brewing

Manassas·Family Friendly

About

A brown ale that tastes like cookies and a margarita gose put Manassas on the craft beer map at this family-forward taproom run by owners Kenny and Adrienne. The back of the house is set up with a dedicated kids area (toys, a TV, arcade machines) separated enough from the front that adults who came for the beer can actually enjoy it. Northern Virginia families looking for a place where everyone can settle in for a few hours have found their spot.

Great new brewery! I was able to try 4 of their new beers as part of a friends and family soft opening. The Gose and Hazy IPA were both light and refreshing. My favorite was the Brown Ale that tasted like cookies. And they also had a Porter that was really flavorful without being too heavy. They have their soft opening later this summer and deserve a visit!

I can't say enough about this local microbrewery. Kenny and Adrienne have done an outstanding job at making it family friendly, and the beer is awesome. Kenny has a true passion for brewing and it shows. I will miss it dearly, as I'm about to move to Texas due to a new job. But I will make sure I come by anytime I'm in NOVA, and suggest everulybody in NOVA visit this brewery, as it is a true local gem.
