We had a wonderful experience at Shotwell Run Brewing Company and Blue Quartz Winery! The beautiful views of the well-maintained vineyard and Old Rag Mountain were complemented by a light dusting of snow that didn’t stick, adding to the charm. The drink selection was fantastic. I enjoyed the Tryme Hazy IPA, while the girls loved the Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc and refreshing sangria. The decor, with quilts hanging from the ceiling, created a cozy vibe, and the local artwork on the walls was a nice touch, with pieces available for purchase. The staff were incredibly helpful, enhancing our visit with their great recommendations. I highly recommend both Shotwell Run Brewing Company and Blue Quartz Winery, a perfect spot for good drinks and stunning views!

This place is together with Blue Quartz winery which is great when you want a beer and your wife wants wine. Beautiful view and tasting room. As a bonus, I have Verizon cell service and was getting 2 bars of 5G during my visit. We were greeted promptly upon entering and the staff was patient with us as we made our selections. They are also dog friendly so we were able to take our dog into the tasting room. For the beer, really enjoyed their Stout and Pilsner. The IPA and Festbier were good too. For the wine, my wife really enjoyed the Viognier and the cider. She said the mead was good but the sangria was a little sweet. The only drawback to our visit is they didn't have any beer in cans to go other than the Mexican Lager as they had a busy weekend according to the staff. Since I liked the other beers, I decided to take a chance and get a 4 pack. The Mexican Lager is good too! We will return in the future!
